Orphans are first selected then a guardian is introduced to care for that orphan as a member of their family. Every effort is made to find extended relatives of each orphan so they may be placed within their family trees. This not only provides a familiar house for growth but also reinforces family ties to give every possible consideration for proper care of the child.

Building school facilities are key. Education for each orphan is certainly the focus as it not only provides the opportunity to engage and learn but provides the way to make their own success story.
Secondly, building simple homes for widows and their families can redirect these families towards another path for success. Most homes are built with mud walls and a hardy tin roof to withstand most severe weather during rainy seasons

Support through familial guardians is achieved through a traveling support system to find out the needs of each orphan. Some areas are remote, but can be reached by foot and motorbike, whatever it takes to receive regular updates from the home. If the child is enrolled in school they are also monitored through their teachers and support staff.

Microfinance plays a major role for family businesses. From selling produce, making furniture or sewing clothes. The financial burdens can be overwhelming from starting the business to going through tough periods or adjusting to growth. Microloans are a central part to keep these businesses running smoothly. Most businesses are women-owned and are grouped together and mentored so that they may share experiences and help each other from loan application to proper management of funds.
