Dear
Supporters,
In light of recent civil
unrest stemming from a botched National Election
in Kenya on the 27th of December, 2007, the US
Advisory Board at its Monthly meeting this past
Monday has taken immediate action to provide some
Emergency Relief Funds in the amount of $2,000.00.
These funds will be used to assist in feeding the
many displaced citizens suffering from the loss of
their homes, which were burned to the ground, as
citizens rioted in protest to the results of the
National election.
We are pleased to report that
at this date none of our staff, orphans or
guardians have been effected, but we felt it
appropriate to assist in this emergency relief
effort until traditional humanitarian aid sources
can be mobilized.
We pray that conflicting
groups will feel the love of God and resume peace
discussions to reach a non violent solution.
