Projects

LCM is committed to providing the necessities of life for the orphans of Kenya. In addition, we are actively involved in community building projects as well as efforts to build up logistics in the area. These projects are carefully analyzed to make sure to maximize area resources that directly impact these children. LCM is looking for partnerships to help make these needs available. Consideration for these projects have been traditionally completed either as a church-wide body, bible study group, civic group or another non-profit organization. Raising funds for these projects can be done either as a matching grant with other organizations or simply funding the entire process. Please consider the following for your next fund drive.

Water Well Drilling
Funds being determined

Our summer mission teams have recently completed a successful drilling operation that has great potential for the area. More details to follow on how to help to complete these areas for rapid water delivery.

Farm Tractor
$30,000 USD

Soaring food prices and antiquated farming techniques have led LCM to seek a farm tractor. This tractor will be used to farm on LCM and other nearby land plots. The tractor is a crucial piece to not only help the food supply to the impoverished, but provide the means necessary to teach modern farming techniques that will greatly enhance efficiency of the growing season.

Land
Funds being determined

Additional land purchase is needed to help with two major goals. Additional land is always needed for possible farmland, but also as the beginning piece for construction of a school and soccer field.

Vehicles
Trailbike - $5,000 USD, 4x4 Utility Vehicle - $30,000 USD

Kenyan roads are hazardous at best. Vehicle maintenance and longevity are major concerns. Our ability to travel to the communities where the orphans we support call home is best done by a rugged 4x4 or trailbike. We currently have an immediate need to replace a worn trailbike. Please consider this gift so that we may continue uninterrupted service to the "least of the least".

Office Building
$150,000 USD

For Life For Children Ministry to operate as an official government-recognized entity there must be a central office established there in Kenya. Rent is continuing to rise in our current district in Kisumu, Kenya. Our intention is to own an office building that we may utilize to continue our operations as well as consider the possibility of renting additional space to help with revenue. Please help us find the right property to take our operations to the next level.

Guardian House Construction
$1,000 USD

Some caregivers have their house in disrepair and need help to rebuild. This presents the perfect opportunity to help orphan and community. Please contact us for more info as we consistently monitor living conditions and can prioritize the most urgent need.
