for answering me so soon! I was praying this morning, asking God to help me with a decision regarding mission support.
I told you how convicted I've been since the GIC, and how much your ministry especially touched me. The thought ran
through my head at the time I was praying--Maybe I'll have a reply to my email, that would be a sign that this is what God
wants me to do. I had to smile when I saw that I already had a reply. I will confess something to you--we have
a massage therapist who comes to our office every Thursday. I pay $15 every week for a 30-minute massage--it's wonderful!
But God had laid it on my heart that if I gave up this weekly 30-minutes of pleasure I could support a hungry little orphan
in your village. Yesterday I cancelled my standing appointment, and after receiving your email I feel very positive
about signing up to support one of these special children. I am so excited about this! I feel sure you will meet
your goal of 100 orphans by the end of the year--and one of them will be "mine!" Thank you for all you are doing.
Now I want to go to Kenya! My husband, Danny, and I go to Brazil each year to work evangelism on a medical mission team
there--we will go in August this year. But I pray that God will also make it possible for us to go with you to work
with the orphans and communities where you are working. Pray for us!"
